Lake Šatorsko lies below the Šator mountain in the mountain range of the same name, from which it got its name. Lake Šatorské lies at an altitude of 1488 m and in summer its temperature reaches up to 17 degrees Celsius. From the lake you can climb the hiking trail to Veliki Šator (1,872 m above sea level)
