The Krkonoše Mountains are famous for their long flat ridges, except for the dramatic Kozí hřbety towering just a short distance from the center of Krkonoše – Špindlerův Mlýn. The highest point is the viewpoint Krakonoš (1,422 m asl), but the typical peak is the so-called V peak (1 387 m asl). Unfortunately, hike through this ridge is forbidden.
