They have two churches in the small village of Højerup. More interesting is the one that stands on the very edge of the cliff. It dates from the second half of the 13th century, when it still had a short distance to the sea. Unfortunately, the erosion of the surf permanently gnaws the soft white shores and the wall of the cliff thus approached the church irresistibly. Part of it already slid down the cliff in the 19th century, and in the place of the altar you are already standing on the very edge of a 20-meter-long precipice.
