Møns Klint is over 6 km long coastal cliff formed by chalk. It is located in the east of the Danish island of Møn. The highest point of the cliff, Dronningestolen, reaches a height of 128 meters above sea level. Starting point – Geocenter Møns Klint Museum. The cliffs are followed by another attraction, the aristocratic residence of Liselund Slot with a romantically composed English park.

The cliffs were formed seventy million years ago by the accumulation of shells of microscopic algae, their current form was given to them by the movements of the continental glacier in the last ice age.

The steep walls of the cliff are often subject to erosion. A large landslide in January 2007, known as the Store Taler, created a 300-meter-long peninsula.
