The ruins of which has its charm
Beckov Castle is located in the village of the same name in the district of Nové Mesto nad Váhom. The hike to the castle starts from the village center and takes about 15 to 20 minutes. The first written mention of the castle dates back to 1208. The castle is interesting not only because of its history but also its location as it is located on the so- hardness, which forms as a residue after limestone crystals treated by water erosion as well as by the drop of the surrounding surface
