Dolní Posázaví is a picturesque area located southeast of Prague. The axis of the territory is of course the river Sázava with several very beautiful sections. The first mention of the castle dates back to the 10th century. The chateau underwent the most significant reconstruction in 1656 during the reign of William of Talmberk.
