Rataje nad Sázavou Chateaux
A place that is still waiting to be discovered
The first mention of the castle dates back to the 10th century. The chateau underwent the most significant reconstruction in 1656 during the reign of William of Talmberk. In 1933, the chateau was bought by the municipality and established here as a post office, office or school. Today the castle is undergoing a gradual reconstruction in several phases. All the interior areas where the tours are underway have already been restored. Reconstruction of the exterior will hopefully soon
