Interesting vegetation

Petr Liška Wrote 27.01.2013:

Pakistan is very poor on forests – forested is less than 4% of the territory. So it is usually possible to admire the trees only in the oases around the glacial rivers. The national tree is Himalayan cedar (deodar), which can be seen in the foothills of the Himalayas. Lowland regions are famous for mango trees and mountain regions for apricots. If you want to see the carpets of blooming flowers, you should set off in early August to Deosais plains.
