The most common connections are to the Russian Federation and Kazakhstan. The airport is located 30 kilometers north of downtown. Expect to take about 45 minutes. There are marshals, but more frequent transport is a shared taxi at a cost of about 600 Soms – ** Other airports: ** The second major airport is in Oš, where international flights also fly. The Bishkek – Osh line is the busiest domestic line in Kyrgyzstan. The alternative airport is in Almaty, Kazakhstan, only 230 km from Bishkek – National carrier: Air Kyrgyzstan – ** By air from the Czech Republic to Kyrgyzstan: ** From the Czech Republic there is no direct air connection to Kyrgyzstan. It flies most often via Istanbul (Turkish), Moscow (Aeroflot). The journey takes at least about 8–13 hours. The usual ticket prices are for 15 thousand crowns. About 10,000 in action.
