In practically every city you will find a number of cheap and very simple accommodation types such as Hospedaje. There is no need and usually not the possibility to book accommodation in advance.
Mountain huts and lodges

Perhaps the only hot hut in Bolivia is the Chacaltaya refuge located just below the top of the mountain of the same name.
Camping

There is basically no trekking infrastructure built, so in the mountains you have to rely on your own tent.
