Walk through the gorge of Wadi Bani Khalid

The beginning of this short tour begins at the last of the larger swimming ponds. It only leads for a while so relatively high above the bottom of the gorge. For the rest of the journey, then to the bottom

The march through the gorge is pleasant – the path is quite obvious. In several places it is necessary to cross the local river. In most cases, you can always jump over rocks.

Less than half an hour's walk away, you are at the stairs to a cave that is freely accessible

A tour of this cave is definitely not for claustrophobics + you definitely need a flashlight.

The cave is terribly hot and humid and is full of feces from bats

The entrance to the cave is about 10 meters above the ground, so it is also a pretty good view of the continuation of the gorge

You can go even further through the gorge, but the process is very slow – constantly climbing boulders. We preferred to turn it around after a few minutes and went for a bath

Some places here are really worth it

On the way back, it is not worth rushing at all and you will definitely enjoy the great and refreshing swimming

The places in the gorge are usually without people a little longer than in the main place at the restaurant

Here, too, you can indulge in a fish pedicure thanks to the Garra rufa (Red-brown Gara) fish.
