Mayan ruins on the beach

Only a few archaeological pavilons in the world have their own beautiful beach as the mayan ruins in Tulum. Visit of this well preserved monument is spiced by ubiquitous iguanas basking on hot stones.
Temple of the God of the winds
Temple of the God of the wind built tactically on a small rocky promontory used to guard a small cove at the entrance to the complex. This beach is forbidden for entry, because sea turtles come here to lay eggs.

Sightseeing or rather swimming?
If you are going to Tulum, definitely pack a swimwear, because the beaches are really picturesque here.
