The most beautiful view of Český Krumlov

Český Krumlov is rightly one of the most visited cities in the Czech Republic. Especially the views from the castle to the historic center are breathtaking. Probably the most beautiful of these views is directly from the top of the castle tower, when you have the whole area in the palm of your hand
Český Krumlov Castle Courtyard
The starting point to the Castle Tower is the courtyard of the castle

Stairs to the tower
Tickets are also bought for the castle museum and are relatively expensive – 150 CZK. There are 162 steps in front of you, up a relatively cramped staircase

View of the Upper Castle
However, the reward for the output is really worth it. Directly below you is the courtyard and behind it the Upper Castle

Panorama of the historic center of Cesky Krumlov
The view of the historic center surrounded by the Vltava is perhaps even better

View of the church of St. Welcome
The historic center is dominated by the church of St. Welcome. The second church tower rises directly under the tower – this is the former church and hospital of St. Jošta

View of Vraný vrch
The Plešivec and Vraný vrch housing estates (702 m above sea level) can be seen on the horizon.

View of Trojklášteří
To the east is a view of the so-called Trojklášteří and the Red Gate

View of Kleť
To the north is a nice view of Kleť and the uninteresting modern part of Český Krumlov
