View up to the Alps
The lookout tower on the top of Kleť Mountain (1084 m above sea level) is considered to be the oldest stone lookout tower in the Czech Republic. From the lookout tower there is a really nice wide view, in good weather all the way to the Alps.
At the top of Kleť
The top of Kleť is of course dominated by a stone lookout tower, but also a large tourist cottage serving mainly for cyclists, for whom an exit is a great challenge.

As you climb to the top of the lookout tower, you will definitely be interested in the beautiful spiral wooden staircase

It can be seen from the lookout tower that the top of Kleť is quite large. You will find a few rocks here. Not far from the top there is also an observatory
Television transmitter České Budějovice - Kleť
However, the highest point of the whole massif is not a lookout tower but a 175 meter high television transmitter České Budějovice – Kleť
View of Křemže and České Budějovice
The view to the north is to the picturesque landscape around Křemže (also part of the protected landscape area Blanský les) and further to Budějovice or the giant towers of the Temelín nuclear power plant.

To the west is a view of the Šumava Mountains – for example, the top of Knížecí Stolec (1,236 m above sea level)
View of the Šumava and sometimes as far as the Alps
The entire southern direction is occupied by a view of the Šumava ridges and, in good weather, to the Alps.
