Shooting the desert mountains: The best time to take photos of the desert mountains that line Akaba is in the early evening, when they get a red tinge. Photoshoot of Eilat across the sea: Eilat and the desert mountains behind it, on the other hand, stand out in the morning. The rest of the day is in a pretty big backlight.
