Nizwa is one of the most important cities south of the highest mountain in Oman, Djebel Ash Shams. It is located around the mighty Wadi Tanuf. Tourists are attracted by a huge fortress, old souqs and a mosque. Count on an hour to the city and another to the castle.

The center of the Lowlands

The center of Nizwa is this building. An ideal place, right next to it is an unfilled car park and historic buildings are also just a few tens of meters walk
