An oasis with a huge castle
Nizwa is one of the most important cities south of the highest mountain in Oman, Djebel Ash Shams. It is located around the mighty Wadi Tanuf. Tourists are attracted by a huge fortress, old souqs and a mosque. Count on an hour to the city and another to the castle.

Nizwu divides the huge Wadi Tanuf into two halves. The shadow under the bridge of the local highway is used by truck drivers
