Marina Beach is definitely one of the most beautiful beaches in Kuwait (not to be confused with the beaches of the same name in the Emirates and India). In addition, you can swim here even at high tide – there are no stones or corals. The beach itself is 4/5 public. The remaining one-fifth on the west side belongs to the hotel. The beach is located in the city / district of Salmiya to the southeast of Kuwait City

Marina Beach from the west

The beach is about half a kilometer long and almost a hundred meters wide – so it is really huge from the point of view of urban beaches. This is a view from west to east of practically the entire public part of the beach.

Palm trees on Marina Beach

The sandy beach is indented by a long line of palm trees, and only then is the famous Marina Walk promenade, several kilometers long.

Private part of the beach

The west end of the beach is private and the entrance is guarded by a security guard. Only guests of the 5* Marina Hotel can swim here, ideal accommodation for those who want to have a beach right next to the hotel without having to go somewhere to swim.

Hotel beach from a distance

By Kuwaiti standards, the beach hotel is very low – it's basically just one-story villas.

Costa Tower

Looking inland, one of the tallest buildings in the district – Costa Tower – catches your eye. In this photo, you can also see the stands lining the promenade, where you can buy refreshments from morning to night.

View from the east

Probably the best-known view of the beach is from the east, from which you can see its monumentality. Unlike the beaches in Europe, it is not overcrowded at all – there are few tourists and the locals usually go out only in the late afternoon and evening. So there is really plenty of swimming space here.

Marina Waves Kuwait

At the eastern end of the beach is the interesting Marina Waves building, where you will find restaurants.

Coastal promenade

The coastal promenade stretches mainly in an eastern direction for kilometers – it is the main sports artery for the locals.
