A charming classicist castle with a beautiful view
About one kilometer southwest of the village of Lednice, a small classicist castle is built on a beautiful spot above Prostřední rybník. The favorable location on the northern slope above the system of ponds allows a wonderful view of the surrounding landscape and the opposite temple of the Three Graces from the first floor.
Originally, the castle was used to house a gamekeeper or as a base for occasional bird and fish hunts. Later, the prince's gardener and his family were accommodated here. In 1922, he provided the castle to Prince John II. from Liechtenstein for the purposes of Brno University.
