Ancient port
Phaselis is an ancient city located amidst pine forests and turquoise bays between Kemer and Tekirova. It was founded by the Greeks in the 7th century BC and became an important trading center thanks to its three natural harbors. You can still admire the remains of a Roman aqueduct, a theater, baths and monumental streets lined with columns. Phaselis is a unique combination of history and beautiful nature, ideal for swimming or a peaceful walk among the ancient ruins.
Ancient ruins in the surrounding forests
You can visit the ancient ruins by car, there is a large parking lot, especially for those who have come here to swim. Another option is to walk here along the famous Lycian Way. If you follow the path, you will find many ancient ruins in the surrounding forests, far from the actual site.
End of Phaselis North Beach
There are three beaches in the entire Phaselis area. The northern one is quite rocky at its end and you won't find many people here.

The first larger ruins can be found near the parking lot, right next to the busiest part of the northern beach.

One of the largest preserved monuments in Phaselis is the local aqueduct.
Swimming directly in Phaselis
Swimming right in the ruins of an ancient city is an experience. This is the second beach here in a beautiful little cove.

The axis of the entire area is the so-called Main Street. It is essentially a link between the northern and southern port/beach.

The southern beach is the largest – there are also many visitors here – mostly locals.
