Starting point for the Turkish Maldives
Adrasan Bay is one of the most beautiful „big“ bays in Turkey, which is not surrounded by large hotels. It is beautifully recognizable thanks to the pointed rock massif sticking out to a height of almost 700 meters above sea level. In addition to the fact that there is a beautiful beach, it is also a starting point for a boat trip to the so-called „Turkish Maldives“ aka Suluada Island. There are restaurants around the beach, so there is no problem with refreshments. The nearest larger city is Kumluca.
Adrasan Beach
Adrasan beach has golden sand and is really long – almost two kilometers. In addition, there are views of the mountains on all sides. The only big disadvantage is the anchored cruise ships. Especially in the morning before setting off on a trip. Of course, due to the length of the beach, there are places far from the ships
Before departure
In the morning, in some parts of the beach, you can't even get to the water due to the number of boats preparing to sail.
Beach from the boat
Unlike other large Turkish beaches, it's really nice that the horizon isn't made up of a row of huge hotels.
Finally setting sail on a trip
Gradually, one after another, ships are setting sail for a trip to the „Turkish Maldives“
Cruise starts from Adrasan Bay
The very beginning of the cruise indicates that truly beautiful views of the dramatic coastline await us.
