The name is derived from the Jewish prophet Joshua, where the first Mormon colonists in California reminded him of his face. It is a unique plant that occurs only in a few areas and also only at a given altitude. The trees live for a hundred years and grow to a height of 12 meters. Thanks to this, the youngest national park Joshua Tree NP was created. But we are not in this park, but at the air military base of China, where on one of the remote roads there is a large number of them.

Joshua's tree

The name is derived from the Jewish prophet Joshua, where the first Mormon colonists in California reminded him of his face. It is a unique plant that occurs only in a few areas and also only at a given altitude. The trees live for a hundred years and grow to a height of 12 meters. Thanks to this, the youngest national park Joshua Tree NP was created. But we are not in this park, but at the air military base of China, where a large number of them spread on one of the remote roads. I don't know his exact position at all, but according to my estimates, when going to Sequoia National Park from Ridgecrest, always try to dodge from the main road to the side road and within ten minutes we arrived at the large plains of these trees.
