Hike to the rocks above Rájecké Teplice

You can go hiking directly from Rájecké Teplice or from the parking lot (free of charge) by the main road, just a short walk from the local swimming pool. Here is the crossroads of Rajecké Teplice, a swimming pool from where you will climb the red sign directly up the slope. The path leads along the nature trail „Lesnícky naučná chodník Dolná hora“. After about half a kilometer and 100 altitude meters, you will reach the next crossroads Pod vyhliadkou

After less than three minutes of further walking, you will finally reach the turnoff to the first lookout. From here you have the whole Rájec basin in the palm of your hand. If you are not in shape or you have small children with you, you probably just need to come here. If you have more strength, be sure to continue even higher for more prospects. The view is similar, but thanks to the higher height, a little better and the path between the rocks itself has its charm

We return to the hiking trail and climb up to the second view. Along the way we pass a pleasant fireplace, strange rock formations and we still have to tilt our necks a lot to see the top of the rock tower

After about another fifteen minutes of climbing, we are at the „top“ of the rocks and at the same time at the second lookout

From the viewpoint is a great view of Mala Fatra. However, it is backlit early in the morning, so better photos are definitely taken here in the afternoon

The path continues and it is no longer as steep as we gradually approach the ridge. The surrounding beech forest full of small rocks is very nice

The third view is no longer so interesting for the view itself, the second is better, but there is a nice rock tower. And how to get further from here? You can go back the same way, the fastest solution or walk further to the ridge and go out on the nice White Rock
