The hike from Mohelnice to Klášter and further in the direction of Mnichovo Hradiště leads along the Jizera along the blue tourist route. It is a very comfortable path with only one climb in the second part of this march. It is mostly part of the classic circuit from Mnichovo Hradiště via Káčov and back or a long march from Ještěd

Mohelnice nad Jizerou

The start of this tour is in Mohelnice nad Jizerou, where you can easily get a bus from Mnichovo Hradiště, or ideally walk through the top Káčov

Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary in Mohelnice

We set off along a blue-marked route around the largest monument in Mohelnice – a nice Romanesque church

Road through the Jizera valley

The path basically leads along a plain below a cliff on the edge of the Škanek valley. Jizera is still far away on the other side

Jizera jungle

Quite interesting are the trees overgrown with climbing vegetation in a cliff

Jizera

Finally, the Jizera makes an arc and flows for a while on our side of the valley.

View of the Příhrazské skal massif

After less than three kilometers from Mohelnice, our path leaves the valley and begins to rise. After half a kilometer, a nice view of the Příhrazské rocks opens up

Ruins of the Pachouň court

In a nice place but in a desolate state is the courtyard Pachouň, formerly a large farm

Views of Káčov

From the ruins of the farm, the blue path continues upwards. It is possible to shorten it a bit along a dirt road. The views of Káčov and the Bohemian Paradise are nice from here. The road continues around the orchards and after a few hundred meters you are already on the edge of the Hradiště nad Jizerou Monastery. „Interesting“ are the newly built family houses just a few tens of meters from a large landfill, amazing living. After less than a kilometer of development, you are already at the local brewery
