Cottage Plesnivec is the only one in the Belianske Tatras and is located outside the main tourist routes, thanks to which there is peace and the least tourists go there. The easiest route to the cottage begins in the Tatra Basin, a short walk from the entrance to the Belianska Cave. It is possible to complete a circuit there with an ascent to the cottage along a relatively flat green route, which lasts approximately 2 hours. The descent leads along the yellow route and ends at the same place, passing through the valley of the watercourse and lasting approximately the same length.

The ascent follows a green route, which is a simple route with a minimum elevation gain, only 610 m. Most of the road leads through the forest and therefore does not offer interesting views, but rather a quiet walk through the forest.

Views from the cottage

The cottage has nice views of the valley. Apart from the views of the valley, it does not provide many interesting views of the surroundings, only a few mountains in the vicinity.

Cottage Plesnivec

Chata Plesnivec offers options for small snacks served with soft drinks, beer or tea from local herbs. Prices are the same as at other Tatra cottages. In addition, the cottage offers accommodation that costs 15 euros per night (2019), while if you bring your own sleeping bag, the accommodation costs only 12 euros. From the cottage there are also hiking trails towards the Great White Ball, where several hiking trails lead.

Mini waterfalls

On the way down through the valley along the yellow mark, there are such mini waterfalls on the watercourse. Most of the route passes through the bottom of the valley and it is a less lively Tatra route, which does not provide more interesting views.
