Cairo is the capital of Egypt and the most populous city in Africa. Cairo alone has a population of approximately 12,000,000; The Cairo-Giza twin city with other adjacent cities forms an agglomeration of Greater Cairo with a population of 15,907,000.
Alabaster Mosque
Muhammad Ali Mosque, also known as the Alabaster Mosque, (Arabic مسجد محمد علي), is a mosque located in the Cairo Citadel and was built between 1830 and 1848 during the reign of Muhammad Ali. The building, which was the largest mosque built in the first half of the 19th century, is situated on top of the citadel and, thanks to its shape and two minarets, is the most visible mosque in Cairo. The mosque was built as a memorial to Ali's eldest son Tusun Pasha, who died in 1816.

The Cairo Metro has three lines. Green, red and orange. Price 2 Le interval approx. 1–2 min. Wagon especially for women. Do not trust maps. Some stations have not been completed yet.
Al-Azhar Park
Al-Azhar park is something like a central park in NY. Nice views of the city if there is no smog. You will find several restaurants, fountains, benches, etc. Nice rest place.
