Excursion to Dibba Rock

From Dibba, located on the border between the United Arab Emirates and Oman, you can take a boat trip along the coast of the Gulf of Oman to the snorkeling site of Dibba Rock. In addition, various other activities such as banana riding, kayaking and fishing are organized here. The trip is more suitable for those who like additional activities, because the cruise along the coast itself is not very long.
Port in Dibba
There is a relatively large and important port in Dibba. For boat trips, a pier with traditional boats is used, basically right next to the city center.

Escort boat
The ship tows behind it an escort boat loaded with things for „adrenaline“ activities on site.

View to Oman
Tall barren mountains rise from the Omani side of the gulf. The cruise would certainly be more interesting here

The coast of the Emirates
On the side belonging to the Emirates, the mountains are completely different – lower but pretty sharp

Construction in the Emirates
As everywhere in the emirates, you get the feeling that everything is under construction – here private beaches are being built next to villas along the coast

A dune on a hill
A huge sand dune on an otherwise vegetated hill is a natural attraction.

Radisson Blu Resort Fujairah
We are slowly approaching the destination of this short trip – Dibba Rock. In front of us is the large hotel Radisson Blu Resort Fujairah , which occupied the longest beach here.

Dibba Rock
Dibba Rock is a protected site, but due to frequent boat trips, its underwater surroundings are quite destroyed. Even so, you will see a lot of fish and coral here.

Fujairah Riviera
Opposite the rock is actually a small Fujairah riviera – hotels are being built along the coast and the beaches are being improved. The largest of them is just being completed.
