Walk on the artificial island

The hotel center of the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah is the man-made island of Marjan. Here you will find several 5* hotels with white beaches. You can also take an early evening walk or drive here, as there is a cycle path and a pedestrian path with an artificial, cushioned surface.
Marjan Promenade
The so-called Marjan Promenade stretches along the entire main part of the island of Marjan (approx. 4 kilometers). It is a walking path with an artificial surface that is pleasantly springy – ideal for an evening run. There is a cycle path right next to it.

Rixos Bab Al Bahr Hotel
When you go for a walk on Marjan Island, the first thing you will come across is the Rixos Bab Al Bahr hotel , whose buildings look like Mayan pyramids

Leisure part of the island of Marjan
After a while, you will reach such a leisure area of the island of Marjan – there is a children's playground, a fountain and refreshment stands.

DoubleTree by Hilton Resort & Spa Marjan Island
Opposite the rest area is a magnificent hotel in the style of an Arab palace – DoubleTree by Hilton Resort & Spa Marjan Island .

Canal between islands
Now we cross the bridge to the real island. So far we have actually only walked on artificially expanded land.

Mövenpick Resort Al Marjan Island
Just beyond the canal is another impressive hotel – Mövenpick Resort Al Marjan Island . It is known for its unique roof connecting two buildings.

A desolate part of the coast
The road continues along a barren, unused landscape, which is quite surprising for an artificial island.

Hampton By Hilton Marjan Island
After the wasteland ends, you will come across another hotel, architecturally probably the least interesting, Hampton By Hilton Marjan Island . After the promenade, you can continue even further, but basically there is not much to see here.
