Malinská skála (811 m above sea level) is not only one of the highest peaks in Žďárské vrchy, but it is also one of the best views in this region. The rock rises above the treetops, so the view from it is perfectly circular. The rock is located on the main red marked hiking trail. The easiest boarding places are Milovy, Blatiny or Samotín

Road to Malinská skála

If you go to Malinská skála from the east, you have three options – either along the green from the Milova pond, along the red from Blatiny, or from Sněžné, or along the forest road from Samotín. All these three paths will meet at the crossroads of Drátenička and from there you will continue along the red road. The comfortable path becomes very rocky with the approaching peak, so it cannot be recommended at all for parents with prams.

The top of Malinská skála

From the crossroads it is about three quarters of a kilometer and 100 altitude meters to the rock. Then you can climb to the very top, which is a nice experience in itself

View to the north to the Giant Mountains

To the north is a view of the valley through which the river Svratka meanders. Between the meadows are Křižánky. The ridge of the Giant Mountains can also be seen with good visibility
