Brandýs nad Labem can be found right next to the D10 motorway exit. It is the southern part of the conurbation with Old Boleslav. In the old part of town is a nice castle with a large garden, which is the main tourist magnet of the city. A pilgrimage tourist path and the main Elbe cycle path pass through the town

Access to the castle

There is a paid parking lot next to the chateau and chateau gardens, from where it is a short walk to the chateau building

Views of the castle

The whole castle can be bypassed and viewed from different angles. The covered corridor from the castle directly to the park is interesting

Walk along the Elbe

From the chateau we cross a stone bridge, which spanned the mill arm of the river, and after a while the view of the lock opens up. From here we continue along the cycle path along the banks of the Elbe to the beginning of the Ostrůvek forest park
