Petr Liška Wrote 02.02.2013:

The Yucatan has tropical weather with rainier and very warm summers and drier and colder winters

Spring

Petr Liška Wrote 02.02.2013:

Spring is also a good part to visit. Although, of course, March is better than almost summer May

Summer

Petr Liška Wrote 02.02.2013:

Summer is very hot here and there is also a large moisture.

Autumm

Petr Liška Wrote 02.02.2013:

September and October rain a lot and there is a danger of hurricanes. This is not a very good time to visit. An interesting month is November, when it is already raining relatively little, the prices are still very favorable and there are relatively few visitors.

Winter

Petr Liška Wrote 02.02.2013:

Winter is the peak season of the Yucatan, when it rains the least and temperatures do not exceed thirty. At that time, however, there is also the most visitor and the prices are higher. The exception is January, when it can rain more than in the surrounding winter months.

Overcrowding

Petr Liška Wrote 02.02.2013:

Tourist masses are not distributed evenly at all here – resorts like Cancun, Playa de Carmen or the most famous Mayan sites, such as Chitzen Itza are quite crowded. On the other hand, you can find here both beaches and beautiful monuments with virtually no visitors. It is up to you what you prefer.
