The spring season is ideal for hiking and sightseeing. The sea is even colder, but in May the water temperature is relatively pleasant.

Hotels have been closing slowly since October, but the water is still warm and there are still plenty of nice days. At the same time, it is no longer so warm.
Overcrowding
Marmaris and the resort of İçmeler are very crowded. It pays to go here for those who like nightlife, or only for those who have the hotel only as a base for trips around the area. Turunç is much calmer. Ideal for those who do not want to be alone and besieged by crowds at the same time. In the surrounding Bozburun and Datça peninsulas you can find places where there is a very calm family atmosphere, for example in Mesudiye.
