Thanks to the mountainous terrain, Karpathos is quite an interesting place for hikers. Probably the most interesting act here is the ascent to the highest mountain of the island of Kali Limni (1,215 m above sea level)

Simple maps of Karpathos Island are provided free of charge at every car rental company. If you want to go hiking, buy one of the more detailed maps in supermarkets. You can also get detailed ones in a resolution of 1:60 000.
