Drawbridge - the gateway to the City of London
Tower Bridge has become one of the historical landmarks of the city of London, which most visitors aim for. The bridge over the River Thames is a combination of suspension and lift types, connecting the very heart of the city that makes up the City of London with the Fourth Hamlets. Its construction took the Londoners 8 years, when it was ceremoniously opened on June 30, 1894. The bridge is used for both pedestrian and car traffic, and those who are interested can pay for entry to the bowels of the bridge and walk along the glass floor on the bridge floor.
