The glassworks in Tasice, which was put into operation in 1796, is perhaps the only surviving glassworks from this period in Europe. The glassworks has always lived its own life, but its history is rather sadder. The glassworks often just fell into disrepair. It went out in 2002. For better times, the year was 2014, when it was declared a National Cultural Monument. That probably saved her life. Today, demonstrations of glass blowing are made here.
