To this day, several kilometers of walls have been preserved on the south side of the city. One of their most interesting parts is the now solitary gate of St. Paul (Porta San Paolo), which looks almost like a small castle thanks to two defensive towers. Next door is another attraction – Cestius Pyramid 27 meters high.
