Schönbrunn is not only the most famous, but also the largest castle in Austria. You will find it at the western end of Vienna. It is easily accessible thanks to the green line of the Vienna underground. It is built in the Baroque style like most of Vienna's main sights. Originally, it was to compete with the most famous castle in the world – the French Versailles. It was eventually built in a somewhat reduced size. Even so, it is impressive. In addition to the castle itself with its beautiful exhibits, you will find a number of attractions in its vicinity, such as the Schönbrunn Zoo, which is the oldest zoo in the world or the beautiful Gloriette.
