Area Little Carpathians

The protected landscape area of the Little Carpathians located in Western Slovakia and separating the Záhorská and Podunajská lowlands is one of the lowest mountains in Slovakia. It is not only known for its specific nature but also for its management. It is intersected by a large number of hiking trails and also a ridge, which only in a few places rises above the level of the forest and offers views of the surrounding countryside. The area is particularly specific for the significant differences between the western and eastern sides.
