Probably the most typical building and the largest landmark in Léh is the historic royal palace from the 17th century. Now this multi-storey building is gradually being renovated and is essentially empty. In any case, it gives Léha the real Tibetan atmosphere and it is not for nothing that it is called the Little Potala.
