Reichenbachfall is a seven step cascade on the River Reichenbach (the tributary of the Aare River), about 2 km south of Meiringen. Totally they are 250 meters high and their 90 meters high upper cataract is one of the highest in the Alps. Waterfalls are world-renowned thanks to the fictional event, the Sherlock Holmes fight for life and death with Professor Moriarty.
