The seat of the god Radegast
Radhošť (1129 m above sea level) is the seventh highest mountain in the Moravian-Silesian Beskydy Mountains and their westernmost one thousander. It is located at the end of the Pustevenský ridge about 6 km northeast of Rožnov pod Radhoštěm. According to legend, the Slavic god Radegast (god of the sun, war and victory) has its seat here. At the end of spring in Radhošť celebrated the summer solstice. At the top is another interesting building – Chapel of Cyril and Methodius
