Puitkogel (3,343 m above sea level) is the second highest mountain on the wild Geigenkamm ridge after the Hohe Geige (3,395 m above sea level). Just as you climb the Hohe Geige, this mountain looks like a huge wall from the north, the walls of which fall several hundred meters lower. Due to the fact that there is no marked hiking trail leading to the top of this mountain, it is also little visited.
