Motu Tiahuru is a picturesque island in the northwest of the island of Moorea near a place called Hauru Point. You can get there on a boat or on a rented kayak. The locals still sail here on catamaran-like boats – mainly because these boats have a very small draft, ideal for these shallow Pacific lagoons.
