Biokovo Nature Park

Biokovo Nature Park is the most important area on the southern Dalmatian coast. Declared a natural park in 1981, this mountain ramp rises a good 1,500 meters above the Makarska Riviera and offers exceptional views of the sea and surrounding islands. Admission to the park is paid (60Kn / person) and you can drive here to the top of St. George at an altitude of 1762 m. On the way you can stop at the newly built glass lookout Skywalk Biokovo, if you do not feel dizzy.
