A flat land full of river canals
We find the Netherlands in Western Europe Borders in the east with Germany, in the south of Belgium and in the northwest have access to the North Sea. The capital is Amsterdam, although its functions as the seat of parliament, government, and the Dutch king occupy the Hague. Because of their location at the seaside and the large river network across the country, the Dutch have always had a positive attitude to water and water transport in general.
