Mexico's climate varies greatly in the north and south of the country. The north is dry, desert and semi-desert with little rainfall. The south of the country near the border with Guatemala is humid and there is a lot of rainfall, especially in summer. The center of the country is located at a relatively high altitude, about two thousand meters above sea level, so there is a pleasant climate all year round.
