Observing of Animals

Petr Liška Wrote 28.01.2013:

The most typical Indian animal is tiger and elephant. Of course snakes cobra. In the mountains, you can occasionally see rare snow leopard. In the lowlands, for example, a rhino.

Interesting vegetation

Petr Liška Wrote 28.01.2013:

India is a large country and as such it has a lot of vegetation zones and many interesting species of trees. The national and at the same time sacred tree is a huge Banyan Fig tree. One of the most beautiful and largest trees in India are, however, Himalayan cedars (deodar), which are seen mostly in the Himalayan foothills. They grow to an impressive 60 meters. Very mighty cedars can be seen for example in the valley Khullu.
