Near the town of Ramberg lies a beautiful pointed mountain ** Volandstinden **. The most beautiful view of it is from the small island of Torvøya, which is connected to the larger islands by bridges – so it is easily accessible by car.

Although the Volandstinden mountain is only 457 m high, it is still worth a visit thanks to its location and perfectly pointed shape.
The island of Torvøya
From the main road E10, which passes through Lofoten, only a kilometer detour leads to the island of Torvøya. There is a small car park on the island, from where a few well-trodden paths lead, but these usually dissolve very quickly in soft grassy and mossy vegetation.
Surrounding fjords
In addition to the Volandstinden mountain, beautiful panoramas of the surrounding fjords (Torsfrojden and Selfjorden) can be seen from this place.
Orchid
Small orchids can also be seen in the moss stand.
Fish dryers
On the way from / to the nearby town of Ramberg there are (typical for Lofoten) fish dryers. I can also definitely recommend the town of Ramberg with a beautiful and long beach.
