Right in the middle of historic ruins on the hill Jabal al-Qal'a (Citadel hill) is the building of Archaeological Museum. Although it is really small in size, there are several interesting exhibits from prehistory up to the 15th century. So it is definitely worth a short visit.

The sculptures from the Roman period

In the museum you will find mainly pottery and sculptures from different periods in the history of Jordan.
