Trip to the iconic Ústí nad Labem
The most famous restaurant and viewpoint in Ústí nad Labem is the Větruše castle. You can get here in three ways – by car, on foot or even by a small cable car. A semi-circular view of the city surroundings is from the platform in front of the restaurant. An even better view is from the freely accessible observation tower, where, unfortunately, you have to take pictures through the glass (unfortunately, the windows are locked)
Hotel Větruše
After you reach the top of the hill, you are in a large parking lot at the Hotel Větruše – which is a newly added part of the castle. An ideal place to stay if you want to explore the beautiful surroundings of Ústí nad Labem.

From the viewing platform there is a nice view of the Labem valley and a large part of Ústí.
Restaurant Větruše
Right in the beautiful historical part of the original castle, you can now find a good restaurant Větruše. In summer, you will appreciate the pleasant garden.

If you climb to the top of the observation tower, you will have an even better and, above all, wider view than from the observation platform. Directly to the north is a view of the city center with the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary. The cable car can also be seen nicely from here.
