A trip to one of the most beautiful beaches on Samos
Tsambou beach is located on the north coast of the island of Samos, about halfway between the towns of Kokkari (6km away) and Agios Konstantinos (4km). The center of the beach is organized, but the eastern part of the beach at the cliff is free. The beach is reached by a short but quite steep road
View of Tsambou from the hill
From the main road there are beautiful views of Tsambou beach. Behind the rocks, you can see the second, smaller adjoining beach
View from the turn to the beach
The turnoff from the main road is still relatively high above sea level. From here you can see where to park and the tavern buildings serving the organized part of the beach
View of the beach from the west
Just above the parking lot, a narrow path turns into the vegetation and you can walk along it to a small cave
On the beach of Tsambou
The beach itself is pebble (with larger pebbles) and waves can be made here, especially in the afternoon. At the rock to the east are nice shady places for those who do not want to be in an organized part of the beach
View of the beach from the east
There is also a nice view from the rock at the eastern end of the beach
